 HTIG’s
research and development center is located in Lawrenceville, New
Jersey, seven miles from Princeton, on the Route 1 Research Corridor.
The R&D
Center contains 3,700 square meters (40,000 square feet) of laboratory and pilot plant facilities
including both small and large multi-stage high-pressure reactor systems ranging
in capacity up to 30 barrels per day.
HTIG maintains a staff of highly qualified
engineers, scientists and technicians, with expertise in the development, scale-up,
design, and engineering of chemical and refining processes. The staff includes
senior research engineers and scientists, process and system design engineers,
operations and environmental safety engineers, project managers, plant operators,
maintenance personnel, and laboratory technicians. Over forty percent of the
staff have doctorates or masters level education.
